Pennsylvania had a very wealthy economy which was known for farming and religious freedom. This colony gave refuge to many people trying to escape the harsh laws against certain religions in countries like England. Even though wealth wasn't the main goal of this colony, Pennsylvania's abundance of fields, farmland, and large forests made the colonies wealth skyrocket. This colony was great for people to come and live in during the late 1600's.
